Body Shame, Eating, and Self-Love

Body Shame, Eating, and Self-Love

Most people, especially women, evaluate themselves in the mirror or on the scale. Their body image determines how they feel about themselves, their self-esteem, leading to a pattern of self-criticism, body shame, and a life of wrestling with eating and dieting. This class is designed to help you get off that wheel of self-annihilation and onto a wheel of self love.

This class will help you:
1) Identify and respond to inner criticism and body shame
2) De-shame your eating patterns and discover what you are truly hungry for
3) Build a loving relationship with your body by learning to listen to its true voice and messages
4) Love yourself!

Safety and Vulnerability: Participating in a class like this can be scary for some. I understand that, which is why the first class will focus on our vulnerabilities and making a safe, shame free, enivronment for us to go deeply into the learning. Participants of my classes always report being awed by the way I and others create such a loving and judgement-free space to grow in. In fact, many find the group learning to be the most healing part of these groups.
